Donald J. Clay, Sr., 52, of 415 Ward Avenue, Keyser, WV, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.
Born on December 11, 1954 at Detroit, Michigan, he was a son of the late John Clay, Sr. and Ann Louise (Johnston) Clay. He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Anita Clay and Betty Ann Clay and a brother, John Clay, Jr.
Mr. Clay served in the United States Air Force and was most recently employed with Safeway Grocery Stores.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Betty S. (Wilson) Clay; two sons, Donald J. Clay, Jr. and Derik S. Clay, both of Keyser; one brother, Eric Walter Clay of Alexandria, VA; three sisters, Deborah Spinner of Luray, VA and Joann Neville and Linda Williams, both of Fairfax County, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, February 11 from 1-2 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, February 11 immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Darnell Allen officiating.
