Charlotte V. Riggleman, 79, of Keyser, WV, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her residence.
Born on January 9, 1934 at Flats, WV, she was a daughter of the late Ervin and Cora (Weatherholtz) Shoemaker. She also was preceded in death by a son, Steven E. Riggleman, Sr.; a daughter, Sandra K. Perry; a grandson, Steven E. Riggleman, Jr. a brother, Albert Shoemaker and a sister, Leota Davy.
Mrs. Riggleman was formerly employed at the Kinney Shoe Factory in Romney, WV and with various sewing factories in Keyser. She was a 1952 graduate of Romney High School and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in McCoole, MD.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Glenn O. Riggleman, Sr.; one son, Glenn O. Riggleman, Jr.; one daughter, Beverly S. Miller, all of Keyser; two sisters, Anna Davy of Potomac Park, MD and Geneva Delawder of Keyser; nine grandchildren, Jessica Barrick and husband Jeremy, Bridgett Peterson and husband Matt, Trina Miller, Amanda Perry, Chuck Perry, Jr. and wife Angel, Chris Riggleman and wife Jennifer, Eric Riggleman, Rene Riggleman and Jared Riggleman and wife Sereta and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Randy Crowe officiating.
Interment was in the Duling Cemetery, Keyser.
